Daydreams

So I'm in a creative writing class , and we did a poetry unit . I also write poems outside of the class , so I'm going to post stories/poems that I wrote in the class and out of it :3 heres on I wrote in the class , its a definition poem :


What is a daydream ?


A daydream is like a movie in your head .
It's a wishful wooshing that encases your mind .
You're the director of this exciting journey.
As the day dream plays behind your eyes ,
The next scene becomes your new longing .

A daydream is a way to escape .
It's your own personal hideout .
A daydream is a way to comfort .
Mourning or raving ,
A daydream is the savior .
A distraction from reality ,
And all its daily drama .



A daydream is
Whatever you desire it to be .

To be honest , I don't really like this one . But comment with opinions and ways to edit it ? :D
